We are looking to hire a Workplace Environments and Building Maintenance Technician to join the Workplace Environments and Building Maintenance Department team at Redeia Corporación.

What you'll do

Cross-functional duties

  1. Manage and coordinate actions related to the operation and use of workspaces in the company's buildings, in collaboration with the areas and users.
  2. Use and participate in the definition, proposal, and implementation of technological solutions and corporate systems associated with the Department's activities, for the planning, monitoring, and control of actions, spaces, costs, and incidents.
  3. Prepare follow-up reports and internal reporting on the status of projects, maintenance, risks, and associated planning.

Works and renovations

  1. Carry out technical monitoring of construction, renovation, and space adaptation projects, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.
  2. Ensure the correct application of the corporate architecture manual in space implementation projects, furniture, and construction elements.
  3. Participate in contracting processes related to works and renovations, by defining and reviewing technical specifications, projects, and budgets.
  4. Supervise the execution of works, controlling deadlines, quality, and costs, as well as compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.

Building maintenance

  1. Plan and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance actions for building installations.
  2. Collaborate in defining and developing the annual building maintenance plan, prioritizing actions based on technical and operational criteria.
  3. Technically manage maintenance supplier companies, monitoring the technical and economic aspects of contracted services.
  4. Keep the technical documentation of buildings and installations up to date, including plans, diagrams, and certificates.
  5. Participate in technical audits and regulatory inspections of installations, monitoring the correction of detected deficiencies.
  6. Collaborate in implementing energy efficiency, sustainability, and resource consumption optimization actions in buildings.

What we're looking for

Education

  • University degree or higher-level vocational training in Engineering, Technical Architecture, Building, Installations, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Additional training in maintenance management, project management, workplace/environments, occupational risk prevention (PRL), or sustainability will be valued.

Experience

  • Minimum experience of 8 years in the described duties.
  • Previous experience in technical management of buildings, maintenance of installations, and/or execution and monitoring of works and space renovations.
  • Experience in complex corporate environments, large companies, or management of multiple sites.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating external suppliers and in the technical-economic monitoring of service contracts.
  • Participation in projects involving the implementation of improvements, energy efficiency, sustainability, or modernization of workspaces will be valued.

Technical knowledge

  • Knowledge of building installations (electrical, HVAC, fire protection, etc.) and preventive and corrective maintenance models.
  • Knowledge of technical and regulatory standards applicable to buildings, as well as safety, health, and environmental criteria.
  • Proficiency in management technology tools (CMMS, planning tools, cost tracking, reporting, or equivalent corporate systems).
  • Basic knowledge of workspace management and functional design criteria for corporate environments.
