Biomass Supply/Procurement Technician
At Saica Natur El Burgo de Ebro, we are looking for a Biomass Supply Technician
What you'll do
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Equality, Environment, Energy, and Sustainability Policies.
- Supervise field work related to biomass harvesting, stockpiling, and preparation.
- Carry out technical visits to agricultural and forestry holdings, plots, and woodlands.
- Maintain a direct and ongoing relationship with agricultural and forestry landowners, managers, and local suppliers.
- Verify compliance with technical and quality specifications of the supplied biomass.
- Manage incidents and non-compliance issues with suppliers
- Collaborate on the planning of volumes, schedules, and supply routes together with the Supply Manager.
- Identify new areas, resources, and opportunities for biomass procurement.
- Provide support in document management related to traceability, sustainability, and origin of the resource.
- Detect issues at the source that may affect supply continuity and propose solutions.
- Coordinate with plant teams to adjust supply to operational needs.
- Monitor biomass stocks at the source and at intermediate yards.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, forestry, and safety regulations in field operations.
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in agricultural and/or forestry environments (desirable).
- Experience in field work and dealing with landowners or suppliers (desirable).
- Driving license and availability for travel
