Continuous Improvement Engineer

Main tasks/ responsibilities:

What you'll do

  • Define and improve standard operating procedures in production for approval by the Production Manager.
  • Implement, promote, and maintain the group management system in the production area.
  • Coordinate the processes for the implementation of standard operating procedures.
  • Implement and monitor control audits of standardized methods.
  • Define continuous improvement plans in line with the strategy defined by the Production Management.
  • Coordinate the development of existing continuous improvement plans.
  • Use continuous improvement tools to solve production problems (capacities, flows, etc.)
  • Train the production team in all aspects related to continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the definition of technical specifications for new plants.
  • Participate in the modification of plant layout plans.
  • Provide support for the validation of the commissioning of new plants.
  • Consider Health and Safety standards at all times when defining standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical know-how to improve machine reliability.
  • Participate in Group meetings regarding continuous improvement.
  • Define and maintain status indicators for continuous improvement projects at the plant.
  • Identify staff training needs and coordinate the implementation of training using the defined methodology.
