Within the department, the Latin America area coordinates the macroeconomic analysis of the countries where Santander has a presence in the region and integrates local perspectives into a coherent regional view connected to the Group's global economic outlook. It also participates in the design and preparation of the macroeconomic scenarios used in planning processes and stress-testing exercises, in close collaboration with the local Economic Research teams and the relevant corporate areas.

Ensure the consistency and quality of the economic forecasts, scenarios and narratives developed for the different Latin American countries, challenging their assumptions when necessary.
Act as a coordination point between the region's Economic Research teams and the relevant corporate areas, facilitating the integration of the regional and global views.
Prepare reports, presentations and briefings to support the head of the area in interactions with senior management and corporate committees, as well as the planning and risk areas, translating complex economic issues into clear and relevant messages.
Contribute to cross-functional projects related to planning, risk management and macroeconomic analysis, providing the Latin American economic perspective.
Drive continuous improvement in the methodologies, tools and processes used for economic analysis and scenario development.
