Network & Security Administrator

Sufficient previous experience to work autonomously with the technologies under their responsibility, resolve medium/high complexity incidents, and act as an escalation point and technical support for the Operator teams. Likewise, they will participate in planned activities, changes, technological evolutions, and projects related to the services within their scope of responsibility. We are looking for a consolidated technical profile, with analytical capacity, service orientation, and a predisposition to work collaboratively with Operations, Engineering, Architecture, and Service Management.

• More than 4 years of experience in positions related to the operation and administration of communications and/or security infrastructures in Enterprise or Data Center environments.

Demonstrable experience in several of the following areas:

• Routing & Switching.
• Cisco Enterprise and Data Center technologies.
• SDN architectures and, especially, knowledge of Cisco ACI.
• Multi-Pod and Multi-Cloud concepts and architectures.
• Administration of perimeter security systems and Next Generation Firewalls.
• Experience with some of the main security technologies:
  • Fortinet.
  • Palo Alto Networks.
  • Check Point.
• Knowledge of advanced security functionalities such as:
  • IPS/IDS.
  • DDoS protection.
  • WAF.
• DDI services and infrastructures:
  • DNS.
  • DHCP.
  • NTP.
  • IPAM.
• Experience with Infoblox will be especially valued.
• Knowledge of monitoring and event management tools.
• Ability to interpret logs, events, and alarms as part of technical diagnosis.
• Knowledge of automation oriented towards eliminating or reducing recurring tasks within the operation.

We are looking to hire a Network & Security Administrator to join the Operations area of the Connectivity division. The selected person will participate in high technological value services, performing functions of operation, administration, support, and evolution of communications and security infrastructures, mainly in Enterprise and Data Center environments.

The main responsibilities of the position will be:

• Operation and administration of communications and security infrastructures.
• Resolution of low, medium, and high complexity technical incidents within their scope of knowledge.
• Advanced diagnosis and troubleshooting of connectivity and security problems.
• Management of infrastructure requests, incidents, and changes.
• Participation in the execution of RFCs and planned activities.
• Management and monitoring of tickets through ITSM tools, ensuring their correct documentation and compliance with SLAs.
• Administration and evolution of network and security device configurations.
• Analysis of recurring problems and proposal of corrective, preventive, or improvement actions.
• Participation in preventive maintenance activities and review of infrastructure status.
• Support, advice, and technical escalation to the NSOC Operator teams.
• Collaboration with Engineering and Architecture teams regarding high complexity incidents or technological evolution needs.
• Participation as a technical member in deployment, migration, improvement, or evolution projects for infrastructures.
• Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation: operating procedures, incident reports, technical reports, change documentation, and knowledge base.
• Knowledge transfer to the Operations teams.
• Participation, where applicable, in services subject to shift models, rotation, or 24x7 on-call duties.
