At a technical level 💻 it is indispensable that you have:
Real experience in the design and maintenance of data systems, especially structuring relational data environments (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or others).
Practical ETL / ELT: mastery of tools such as n8n, Airbyte, DBT, or similar, creating and maintaining integration pipelines between sources.
Advanced SQL: complex queries, data modeling, performance optimization, and integrity control.
API Integrations: experience connecting data from sources such as HubSpot, GA4, Amplitude, or billing systems (e.g., Chargebee).
Automation and control: ability to develop automatic, traceable, and stable processes.
Data quality management: validations, alerts, and mechanisms to detect errors or duplications.
A builder and self-taught profile: you enjoy both creating and fine-tuning data processes.
You are motivated by seeing tangible results, not just designing diagrams or theoretical models.
You understand how data is used by business, product, and finance.
You have worked at least 2-3 years on real data projects, preferably in SaaS environments or with digital products.
You are methodical, curious, and like to leave systems clean, documented, and scalable.
And you will shine especially ✨ if:
You have built a data integration system or pipelines between SaaS tools yourself.
You have worked with n8n, Airbyte, DBT, or equivalent tools.
You are one of those who enjoys "getting your hands dirty" with SQL, scripts, and automations.
You have a product mindset and understand the value of well-modeled data.
You feel more like a "maker" than a "consultant": you build, you don't just give opinions.
Hello! 👋
We are looking for our new star signing as an Analytics Engineer to join the Product and Data team at Sesame HR.
We are Sesame HR, the digital solution that helps Human Resources teams, managers, and companies optimize personnel management processes by centralizing them in a single platform.
Before we tell you what we are looking for, we have prepared a video where we introduce ourselves and tell you who we are, to see if we can convince you that we are a good match 😉
Hit play!
🤓 What do we expect from you?
We are looking for someone who builds real things with data. A practical profile, with an engineering mindset, but without losing focus on the business.
Your mission will be to design, create, and operate our internal data system, integrating different sources such as HubSpot, Chargebee, Amplitude, GA4, and our own product databases.
We want someone eminently hands-on: someone who enjoys setting up pipelines, solving integrity problems, and optimizing processes. We are not looking for a theoretical or "corporate Big Data" profile, but rather someone who builds and understands data from end to end.
Design and maintain the relational data architecture that supports Sesame HR's reporting and analysis.
Build and orchestrate ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as n8n or Airbyte, integrating CRM, billing, analytics, and internal databases.
Collaborate with Product, Finance, and BI teams to define data requirements and improve traceability.
Develop automations and validations to ensure data quality and consistency.
Implement monitoring and alert mechanisms to detect failures in flows.
Document processes and propose continuous improvements in the internal architecture.
Support the creation of dashboards or consolidated data sources for decision-making.
