Requirements

What we're looking for

Technical degree related to Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnics, Structures, Topography, or the industrial field.
Degree recognized in Spain.
Experience in civil works projects.
Valid driving license (B).
Capacity for organization, coordination, and project management.
Communication and client interaction skills.

Nice to have

Previous experience in monitoring projects and structural or geotechnical monitoring.
Experience in underground works and urban infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement techniques for the monitoring of structural and geotechnical movements.
Experience in economic management and contract monitoring.
English level.

The role

At SOCOTEC Spain, we are looking to hire a Project Manager for our Monitoring Department, based in Madrid.

The Monitoring Department specializes in the monitoring of structural and geotechnical movements in new construction works and existing structures, using different instruments and measurement techniques.

What you'll do

The selected person will assume the technical and economic management of projects, acting as the main interlocutor with clients and coordinating with technical teams to guarantee the correct development of the contracted services.

Technically and economically manage the contracted monitoring projects.
Act as the main interlocutor with clients, providing responses and technical advice during the development of projects.
Perform contract monitoring, controlling their technical and economic evolution.
Coordinate with the technical team located in Barcelona to guarantee the correct execution of the works.
Participate in the development and expansion of the department's product and service portfolio.
Stay updated on new monitoring techniques, technologies, and solutions, assessing their possible implementation in projects.
Monitor projects and ensure compliance with established objectives.
