Requirements
What we're looking for
Technical training in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Topographical Engineering, or similar degrees related to civil engineering.
Demonstrable experience in management and coordination of work teams.
Experience in civil engineering environments or infrastructure projects.
Ability to organize and size teams, plan resources, and prioritize activities.
Leadership, communication, and incident resolution skills.
Valid driving license (B).
Nice to have
Previous experience in infrastructure monitoring and auscultation companies.
Experience managing large teams of operational personnel.
Experience in planning field work and coordinating measurement teams.
Experience in operational responsibility positions, production management, or operations management.
English level.
The role
At SOCOTEC Spain, we are looking to hire an Operations Manager for our Monitoring Department in Madrid.
We are looking for a profile with experience in team management, preferably in civil engineering environments, who can take on a key role in the operational organization of the department and collaborate closely with management in the development of the activity.
What you'll do
Coordinate and supervise the monitoring department's work teams.
Plan and organize the human and material resources necessary for each project.
Prioritize and distribute work, ensuring that measurement teams are available at the required place and time.
Size work teams based on operational needs and project workload.
Monitor productive activity, identifying possible needs and incidents and proposing solutions.
Coordinate the assignment of personnel and resources to ensure the correct execution of the work.
Collaborate closely with the department management, assuming operational responsibilities and contributing to the improvement of internal organization.
Participate in the development and growth of the operations team.
