The role

At Suara, we are looking for a cultural profile with family origins from Eastern Europe and mastery of the culture and language of one of its regions—with special attention to Romanian, Georgian, or Russian—to work in the penitentiary field.

The selected person will have the mission to promote cultural diversity and improve the social climate through the prevention, detection, and mediation of conflicts affecting coexistence. Likewise, they will facilitate communication between professionals and deprived persons of liberty, will coordinate with teams and volunteers from inside and outside the center, and will offer cultural advice for the design of educational programs. Finally, they will perform tasks of reception and accompaniment for the internal population, paying special attention to those individuals susceptible to situations of racial and cultural discrimination.
