Requirements

What we're looking for

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the tasks described above.
  • Proficiency in office tools, with advanced Excel. Knowledge of A3 and PowerBI is desirable.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team, as well as in close collaboration with other departments.

The role

One of our clients located in Barcelona, belonging to the energy sector, is looking to match with an Accounting Technician to join the company's Finance department during a maternity leave.

What you'll do

  • Ensure compliance with the Company's national accounting and tax regulations.
  • Accounting for all company operations (Income, expenses, taxes, payroll, provisions, amortizations, etc.).
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Preparation and filing of Taxes.
  • Payments to Suppliers and portfolio management.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare the company's Annual Accounts and liaise with external auditors.
  • Perform monthly analysis of the Profit and Loss Account and variances.
  • Treasury monitoring and management.
