Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or similar.

What you'll do

You will join our Maintenance Engineering Department, located in Majadahonda (Madrid).

Your mission will be to provide specialized technical support on the mechanical systems of trains in service, driving their reliability, availability, and evolution, as well as participating in the definition, validation, and implementation of technical improvements that ensure compliance with operational and maintenance requirements throughout the entire product life cycle.

To achieve this, you will carry out functions such as:

  • Lead the technical analysis and resolution of incidents related to onboard mechanical systems, especially braking and anti-lock systems, as well as other auxiliary train systems.
  • Define, analyze, and validate technical solutions, performing calculations, studies, and engineering documentation that guarantee the reliability and maintainability of the systems.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering, Operation, and Maintenance areas to ensure the correct integration and evolution of the systems under your responsibility.
  • Technically manage suppliers, monitoring developments, modifications, and validations from the initial phases to final approval.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of tests, verification, and validation activities, ensuring integral management of the systems' life cycle.
