Project Manager

What will your job consist of?: 🫵🏽

You will join the Project Portfolio Management department at our center located in Las Matas.

Your mission will be to lead the organization in the execution of the Project, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the bid or the contractual obligations acquired with the Client, as well as the internal objectives established in terms of quality, schedule, and cost.

And to do so, you will carry out functions such as:

• Leading the execution of the bid or the Project, in terms of quality, schedule, and cost, directing the resources made available by the Company through the Project Team assigned by the different departments to the Project.
• Being responsible for meeting the objectives in the bid or the Project (quality, schedule, and cost).
• Ensuring compliance with the obligations set out in the bid or the contractual obligations with the Client, acting as the point of contact with them for the execution of the Project.
• In the case of consortium projects, acting as the point of contact with the Consortium for the execution of the Project.
• Analyzing the requirements of the bid or the contract, ensuring their distribution to the various areas of the Company involved, and, together with the Procurement Department, their transfer to subcontractors.
• Monitoring compliance with the requirements of the bid or contractual requirements during the execution phase of the Project, proposing and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Negotiating contract modifications that arise during the development of the Project with the Client, together with the Commercial Department.
• Directing, managing, and resolving conflicts among the interdisciplinary work groups involved in the bids or projects, in accordance with PR-02.
• Proactively monitoring the critical path during project execution, identifying and implementing corrective actions together with the different areas of the company.
• Leading budget monitoring and control, with the collaboration of Management Control, identifying and implementing corrective actions together with the different areas of the company.
• Preparing, together with the Financial Department, the invoicing and collection plan for the Project, and informing the rest of the Project team and the company areas involved of said plan.
• Other functions and activities that help address any needs arising within the organization of the center/area.

What we are looking for in you: 🔎

• A degree in Engineering, in any of its specialties.
• At least 6 years of experience in positions such as Project Manager, Project Director, Program Director, or similar, in the railway sector.
• Experience in project management.
• Very high level of English.

¿En qué consistirá tu trabajo?: 🫵🏽

Te integrarás en la Dirección de Cartera de Proyectos, de nuestro centro ubicado en Las Matas.

Tu misión será la de dirigir a la organización en la ejecución del Proyecto, asegurando el cumplimiento de los requisitos de la oferta o las obligaciones contractuales adquiridas frente al Cliente y de los objetivos internos establecidos en cuanto a calidad, plazo y coste.

Y para ello, realizarás funciones como:

• Liderar la ejecución de la oferta o el Proyecto, en calidad, plazo y coste, dirigiendo para ello los recursos puestos a disposición por la Empresa, a través del Equipo de Proyecto asignado por las distintas Direcciones al Proyecto.
• Ser responsable del cumplimiento de los objetivos en la oferta o en el Proyecto (calidad, plazo y coste).
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de las obligaciones marcadas en la oferta o las obligaciones contractuales frente al Cliente, siendo el interlocutor con el mismo para la ejecución del Proyecto.
• En el caso de proyectos consorciales ser el interlocutor con el Consorcio para la ejecución del Proyecto.
• Analizar los requisitos de la oferta o del contrato, asegurar la distribución de los mismos a las diversas áreas afectadas de la Compañía, y conjuntamente con la Dirección de Compras la transferencia de los mismos a los subcontratistas.
• Realizar seguimiento del cumplimiento de los requisitos de la oferta o requisitos contractuales durante la fase de ejecución del Proyecto proponiendo e implantando acciones correctivas en caso de ser necesario.
• Negociar con el Cliente, junto a la Dirección Comercial, las modificaciones de contrato que surjan durante el desarrollo del mismo.
• Dirigir, gestionar y resolver los conflictos entre los grupos de trabajo interdisciplinares que trabajan en las ofertas o los proyectos, según lo establecido en el PR-02.
• Realizar seguimiento proactivo del camino crítico durante la ejecución del proyecto, identificando e implantando acciones correctivas conjuntamente con las diferentes áreas de la compañía.
• Liderar, con la colaboración de Control de Gestión el seguimiento y control del presupuesto, identificando e implantando acciones correctivas conjuntamente con las diferentes áreas de la compañía.
• Elaborar, conjuntamente con la Dirección Financiera, la planificación de facturación y cobro del Proyecto, e informar del mismo al resto del equipo de Proyecto y áreas de la Compañía de las que dependen dichos hitos.
• Otras funciones y actividades que contribuyan a dar respuesta a cualquier necesidad que surja en la organización del centro/área.

Lo que buscamos en ti: 🔎

• Grado o Licenciatura en Ingeniería, en cualquier de sus especialidades.
• Experiencia de al menos al menos 6 años, ocupando posiciones de Project Manager, Director/a de proyectos / programas o similar, en el sector ferroviario.
• Experiencia en el área de gestión de proyectos.
• Nivel de inglés muy alto.
