What we're looking for

  • More than 5 years of experience in the field of information technologies, with a track record in AI and Data solutions architecture or in critical development projects.

  • Experience in the design, definition, and review of data and artificial intelligence architectures.

  • Knowledge of banking business domains and architecture frameworks such as BIAN and TOGAF.

  • Experience or knowledge in Artificial Intelligence solutions, including:

    • RAG architectures.

    • Multi-agent systems and agent architectures.

    • Frameworks such as LangChain.

    • Cognitive and document management solutions.

  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures and their development patterns.

  • Experience or knowledge in Near Real Time and Batch Processing technologies.

  • Knowledge of data modeling, Data Lineage, and Data Governance.

  • Knowledge of data encryption, protection, and anonymization techniques.

  • Knowledge of Machine Learning.

  • Experience in API definition and design, including OpenAPI.

  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing and microservices-based architectures.

  • Ability to evaluate technical designs and guarantee their adequacy to corporate standards.

  • Senior profile with proven experience in AI and Data solutions architecture.

  • Experience leading solutions teams or participating in high-criticality development projects.

  • Experience in project management and coordination, deadline planning, and monitoring deliveries.

  • Ability to work transversally with different technological domains and business areas.

Nice to have

  • Experience in banking or financial environments will be especially valued.

Education & certifications

  • Higher Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.

The role

We are looking for an AI & Data Solutions Architect to join the AI and Data Architecture domain of a major banking entity.

The selected person will be responsible for defining, reviewing, and governing data architecture and artificial intelligence solutions in the bank's strategic projects, ensuring their alignment with the technological strategy, corporate standards, and business needs.

They will act as a technical reference in AI and Data solutions, collaborating with other architecture domains, development and engineering teams, and business areas to design robust, scalable, secure, and reusable solutions.

What you'll do

  • Act as a reference for AI and Data solutions architecture within the organization.

  • Design and review solution architectures for strategic projects and critical developments for the bank.

  • Evaluate technical proposals from development teams, guaranteeing their adequacy to architectural principles and standards.

  • Identify technical and implementation risks, proposing alternatives and mitigation measures.

  • Define, promote, and govern architecture, integration, and development patterns that favor the standardization and reuse of solutions.

  • Ensure the alignment of solutions with the technological strategy, platform capabilities, and business objectives.

  • Identify opportunities for resource optimization, component reuse, and cost improvement.

  • Collaborate with architects from other domains—systems and infrastructure—in the integral design of solutions.

  • Coordinate with demanding areas, technical teams, and stakeholders to define needs and ensure the correct evolution of solutions.

  • Detect new capabilities and evolution needs for the AI and Data architecture platform.

  • Analyze technological trends and evaluate their impact and applicability in the banking environment.

  • Participate in project planning and monitoring, coordinating teams, deadlines, and deliveries when necessary.
