The role

In Telefónica Cybersecurity & Cloud Tech's security monitoring unit, we are responsible for detecting, analyzing, and responding to all potential risk situations by executing actions to mitigate or contain a cybersecurity incident.

What you'll do

Incident detection and response:

You will learn to review and analyze alerts generated by security systems, such as network intrusions, suspicious behaviors, and malware, with support from the team.

You will collaborate on low-complexity incident response following established procedures, escalating those that require additional intervention.

You will participate in initial investigations into security events, identifying causes and gathering evidence under supervision.

You will record activity in the ticketing tool and help maintain up-to-date documentation.

You will support basic communications such as IP blocking requests, antivirus scanning, and email list management.
