What you'll do

What will your mission be? 🎯

You will be part of Wayra Ventures, supporting the investment team in the analysis of technology startups and in the active management of an international portfolio of invested companies.

You will contribute to the identification of investment opportunities, the analysis of market trends, and the monitoring of key business indicators, participating in processes that generate a direct impact on Telefónica's innovation and growth strategy.

How will you contribute your skills to the purpose of the scholarship? 💼

  • Support the analysis of investment opportunities and follow-ons, evaluating market, team, competition, traction, and strategic fit. Identify startups, technological trends, and relevant opportunities through research in specialized sources, funds, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of investment memos, sector analyses, company profiles, and documentation for committees.
  • Participate in the monitoring and updating of information regarding the startup portfolio.
  • Perform analysis and monitoring of KPIs, funding rounds, commercial activity, and the main milestones of the invested companies.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of periodic reporting and in the validation of data quality and consistency.
  • Provide support in the monitoring of divestment processes and value generation opportunities.
  • Coordinate information with entrepreneurs, co-investors, and internal teams to keep the investment pipeline and portfolio updated.
