About the role

We are currently looking for a machine operator for a coating line using varnishes and lacquers cured by electron beam on a windable substrate, contributing to the achievement of quality, productivity, and process reliability goals as part of a team of 3 to 4 people. The company is in the wood sector, dedicated to the manufacture of vinyl paper rolls, and is located in Canovelles.

What you'll do

  • Setup, startup, operation, and controlled shutdown of the EB coating line.
  • Technical preparation of varnish/lacquer formulations, loading and control of substrate feed (films, papers, coatings).
  • Monitoring and adjustment of critical process parameters (line speed, winding/unwinding tension, viscosity, temperature, pressure, EB dose, lamination register).
  • Continuous in-line quality control through physical and visual testing, and verification of compliance with tolerances defined in technical specifications.
  • Diagnosis of operational issues or process deviations. Proposal and implementation of corrective actions in coordination with Maintenance and Process Engineering.
  • Performing format changes, fine adjustments of rollers, coating heads, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Carrying out first-level preventive maintenance according to the defined plan.
  • Thorough recording of production data, incidents and technical adjustments in the system.
  • Collaboration on continuous improvement projects (OEE, waste reduction, parameter optimization).

Requirements
