Due to an increase in activity, we are looking for a Visual Quality Technician, based in Parets del Vallès, Barcelona. As part of the Quality Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing visual and functional audits of SIM and SMD products, ensuring compliance with specifications, procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Acting as a quality guarantor at the source, identifying deviations before products move to the next process or to the customer.
  • Auditing processes, machines, operating parameters, and production conditions in accordance with defined quality standards.
  • Verifying compliance with work instructions, control plans, CSR, and acceptance/rejection criteria.
  • Executing quality controls on in-process products, finished products, and defined critical points.
  • Recording non-conformities, deviations, and audit findings in the corresponding systems.
  • Providing direct support to operational staff, clarifying questions about quality criteria, procedures, visual controls, and applicable tests.
  • Supporting the correct execution of tests, visual inspections, and controls defined for SIM and SMD.
  • Escalating recurring or critical deviations to Quality, Production, and Engineering in a timely manner.
  • Participating in defect investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborating on internal, customer, and corporate audits, ensuring traceability and objective evidence.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, traceability, and product protection requirements (GSMA, IATF, VDA, classified information and product).
  • Promoting operational discipline, compliance with standards, and continuous improvement within the production area.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum education: High school diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in quality control, visual auditing, or inspection in industrial environments.
  • Practical knowledge of production processes, preferably in SIM, SMD, or electronics.
  • Basic knowledge of measurement and quality control instruments, such as dial indicators, micrometers, etc.
  • Ability to interpret work instructions, control plans, and acceptance criteria.
  • Basic knowledge of quality recording systems and traceability.
  • Attention to detail, rigor, discipline, and objectivity.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with operators and support teams.
