What we're looking for

University degree related to engineering, architecture, or building construction: Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Ingeniería de Caminos), Public Works Technical Engineering, Architecture, Technical Architecture, Degree in Building Construction, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degrees, both current and former.
Approximately 8 years of experience in structures, project review, structural calculation, technical assistance, or Technical Control Body (OCT).
Solid knowledge of building structures.
Good proficiency in CYPE for the review of models, results, and calculation criteria.
Ability to technically review work carried out by other professionals.
Ability to define technical criteria, review procedures, and internal work guidelines.
Interest in professional development in a technical reference role within the structures area.

The role

We are looking to hire a Structural Specialist Technician to join our technical team in Barcelona, located in Cerdanyola del Vallès.

The selected person will participate in the technical review, analysis, and audit of structural projects, mainly in the field of building construction and within an environment linked to technical control, technical control bodies, and project review.

Additionally, they will progressively assume a role as an internal technical reference in structures, providing support to the team in resolving technical doubts, supervising work carried out by other technicians, participating in the definition of review criteria, and collaborating in the preparation and improvement of internal technical procedures.

We are looking for a profile with previous experience in structures, who wants to continue developing professionally and assume greater autonomy and technical responsibility within the team.

What you'll do

Technical review and analysis of structural building projects.
Verification of technical documentation, reports, plans, calculations, and structural justifications.
Execution and review of structural models created with CYPE.
Application of technical regulations: CTE, Structural Code, and Eurocodes.
Preparation and review of technical reports, calculation notes, and supporting documentation.
Participation in structural pathology studies, diagnosis of damage, and proposals for repair or reinforcement.
Resolution of technical doubts for the team regarding structures.
Technical supervision of work carried out by other technicians, especially in aspects related to calculation, documentary review, and structural criteria.
Definition, review, and improvement of internal technical criteria and procedures related to structures.
Support in the technical quality control of the area's work.
Technical guidance for junior profiles or inspectors on matters linked to structures.
