We are looking for a Senior Steel Structures Engineer to expand one of our teams based in Barcelona.

The objective is for the person joining to take part in the leadership, design, calculation, and justification of steel and mixed structure projects, ensuring compliance with international regulations and providing technical support throughout all project phases.

• Design and structural calculation of steel and mixed structures in industrial and singular projects.
• Development of advanced calculation models and structural analysis.
• Preparation of calculation reports and technical documentation for clients and organizations.
• Application and justification in accordance with international regulations (European and American).
• Technical support to the Project Manager and coordination with architecture, production, and assembly.
• Participation in:
• Preliminary studies and tender phases.
• Basic and detailed engineering projects.
• Technical support during construction.
• Review and validation of drawings, connections, and structural details.
• Proposal of technical improvements, structural optimization, and standardization of solutions.

• Degree in Industrial / Civil Engineering / Technical Architecture or similar.
• More than 5 years of experience in structural calculation, mainly in steel structures.
• Advanced proficiency in calculation software:
• SAP2000
• IDEA Connection / IdeaStatica
• Robot Structural Analysis
• Demonstrated experience with regulations:
• European (Eurocodes)
• American (AISC, ASCE)
• Very high / fluent English (essential for documentation and technical meetings).
• Availability for occasional international travel depending on the project.

Estamos buscando un/a Ingeniero Estructuras Metálicas Senior para ampliar uno de nuestros equipos con base en Barcelona.

El objetivo es que la persona que se incorpore participe en el liderazgo del diseño, cálculo y justificación de estructuras metálicas complejas, garantizando el cumplimiento normativo internacional y aportando valor técnico en todas las fases del proyecto, desde la fase de oferta hasta la ejecución y soporte en obra.

• Diseño y cálculo estructural de estructuras metálicas y mixtas en proyectos industriales y singulares.
• Desarrollo de modelos avanzados de cálculo y análisis estructural.
• Elaboración de memorias de cálculo y documentación técnica para clientes y organismos.
• Aplicación y justificación conforme a normativas internacionales (Europea y Americana).
• Soporte técnico al Project Manager y coordinación con arquitectura, producción y montaje.
• Participación en:
• Estudios previos y fases de licitación.
• Proyectos básicos y ejecutivos.
• Soporte técnico durante la construcción.
• Revisión y validación de planos, uniones y detalles estructurales.
• Propuesta de mejoras técnicas, optimización estructural y estandarización de soluciones.

• Dominio avanzado de software de cálculo:

• Experiencia demostrable con normativas:
• Europeas (Eurocódigos)

• Inglés muy alto / fluido (imprescindible para documentación y reuniones técnicas).
• Disponibilidad para viajar internacionalmente de forma puntual según proyecto.
