We are currently looking to incorporate a Senior Waste Treatment Plant Designer into our engineering team in Madrid. Leading the technical implementation of complex facilities and coordinating different engineering disciplines in tender and EPC project environments.

What you'll do

  • Development of general layouts and implementation of waste treatment plants (MBT, composting, Waste to Energy, landfills, and other environmental facilities).

  • Design of industrial urban development, including roads, platforms, earthworks, and auxiliary buildings.

  • Preparation and coordination of 2D and 3D models of facilities using design and modeling tools.

  • Integration of equipment, processes, buildings, and infrastructure within the overall plant layout.

  • Technical coordination with the different disciplines involved in the projects (process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and installations).

  • Participation in the preparation of technical bids and EPC projects.

  • Review and optimization of design solutions from a technical and operational perspective.

  • Collaboration in the implementation of BIM methodologies and coordination of digital models.

What are we looking for?

  • Technical education in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Technical Architecture, or similar. Profiles with a background in Drafting and significant experience in complex industrial projects will also be considered.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the design and implementation of industrial facilities.

  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.

  • Experience in the development of complex industrial layouts and plant urban development.

  • Knowledge of REVIT and BIM methodology.

  • Proficiency in MDT, Civil 3D, or similar tools, especially for landfill and earthworks projects.

  • Ability to work autonomously, with a global project vision and a results-oriented approach.

  • Previous experience in the waste sector, renewable energy, or industrial processes is a plus.
