Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Education: Degree in Engineering or Business Administration and Management (ADE) + Master's in Sustainability, Environment and SDGs or MBA. 
  • Required experience: minimum 3 years in energy management or energy procurement areas within an industrial or energy sector company.
  • Languages: Advanced proficiency in English (C1) is essential
  • Knowledge of market intelligence, trading, efficiency, and analysis tools: ICIS, LSEG, Bloomberg, Excel, Power BI, Phyton.
  • Analytical capacity, a global vision of the production process, and a proactive and autonomous attitude, complemented by teamwork and a strong orientation toward continuous improvement.

The role

As part of the Energy area, the selected person will be responsible for managing the different work areas related to energy, from procurement to utilization, at a regional level, implementing the Group's strategies to guarantee a secure, affordable, and sustainable energy supply with a long-term vision.

The objective will be to carry out continuous monitoring of the market and demand, so as to generate competitive advantages for the business unit.

What you'll do

Reporting to the person responsible for the Energy area, the main functions to be performed will be:

  • Define and implement the regional energy strategy aligned with business and sustainability objectives.
  • Analysis of energy and regulatory markets to identify savings and optimization opportunities.
  • Lead energy transition and decarbonization initiatives, including renewable energy projects, PPAs, energy efficiency, and flexibility.
  • Manage energy and carbon risks, monitoring key indicators and hedging strategies.
  • Negotiate agreements with energy suppliers and ensure the continuity and security of supply.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and represent the company before public bodies and industry associations.
  • Participate in energy innovation projects that generate economic and environmental value for the business.
