The role

Voltrac | Valencia (Paterna), Spain | Field role, >50% travel across Spain | Full-time

Voltrac builds autonomous electric tractors for all types of agriculture, from tree crops to large-scale farming. Our 3.5-ton platform is currently being tested on farms across Spain, and we are scaling production to 100 units per year. We are looking for a sales professional to turn field interest into paid pre-orders and full sales.

You will be responsible for your own sales territory and will work directly with the founders, the marketing team, and the engineering team.

What you'll do

  • Identify and qualify farmers, cooperatives, contractors, distributors, and agricultural service companies; qualify warm leads from marketing and build your own pipeline through calls, visits, referrals, and local networks.

  • Manage the demonstration schedule: coordinate and carry out field demonstrations across Spain and translate autonomy, labor savings, and total cost of ownership into the farmer's language.

  • Organize Voltrac's presence at trade shows and industry conferences and represent the company there.

  • Close paid pre-orders, draft purchase contracts, and pilot deployments.

  • Keep the CRM up to date: next steps, notes, and forecasts always current; follow up consistently after every visit, demonstration, and event.

  • Communicate customer objections, feature requests, and competitive intelligence to the team.

How you'll work

full-time

On-site

What success looks like

  • First 3 months: complete mastery of the product pitch and demo; your territory mapped; pipeline built and first pre-orders in negotiation.

  • At 12 months: your own repeatable sales rhythm that generates paid deployments quarter after quarter.

You probably don't fit if

  • Your recent sales successes come mainly from managing other salespeople or exclusively from inbound leads.

  • Your sales experience is limited to retail, hospitality, food service, or call centers.

  • You are not comfortable selling a new technical product in a market that is still being built.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • More than 2 years of experience personally selling machinery, vehicles, technical equipment, or B2B industrial products, with multi-stage sales cycles.

  • Proven track record of generating pipeline and closing deals on your own (not managing others, nor relying only on inbound leads).

  • Professional Spanish and English.

  • Driver's license and availability to travel more than 50% of the time across Spain.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to farmers, cooperatives, contractors, distributors, or agricultural service companies.

  • Enough technical curiosity to explain a complex product in simple terms.

  • Comfort in a startup where not all processes are defined yet.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

Target total compensation (OTE) €45–90k (base €30–60k + variable €15–30k) + company car for professional use + equity participation

  • Base salary: €30–60k depending on experience

  • Variable: €15–30k upon meeting targets

  • Target total compensation (OTE): €45–90k

  • Equity participation

  • Phone and laptop; car and fuel for professional use; hotels and per diems covered during travel

€45,000–90,000 per year

Hiring process

  1. Application with a few short questions (one answered in English), ~5 minutes

  2. 30-minute video interview

  3. 60–90 minute case interview

  4. Visit to our facilities in Paterna to meet the team (travel covered)

We are ready to build the tractors. Are you ready to sell them?
