About the role

As an Ophthalmology Sales Specialist, in the Retina area, for the indications of Diabetic Macular Edema, Retinal Vein Occlusion, and Uveitis.

Your main responsibilities will be the following:

  • Improve patients' quality of life and ethically promote pharmaceutical products with profitability, leadership, and productivity.
  • Establish Action Plans to maximize productivity and territorial potential: territorial situation analysis, territorial evaluation, growth versus competitors, KPIs, and competitor actions.
  • Define and implement necessary actions and/or investments to achieve objectives.
  •  Evaluate and monitor the impact on the results of the area.
  • Achieve and maintain an optimal level of knowledge of products, competitors, pathologies, and the sales process.
  • Sustain and enhance the company's image as a leader in healthcare.
  • Conduct hospital visits to promote the products under their responsibility.
  • Build customer loyalty and identify potential clients, as well as current and future opinion leaders.
  • Implement and monitor sales-oriented activities.
  • Implement commercial strategies to ensure the achievement of sales objectives for the brands under their responsibility.
  • Establish relationships with a broad base of contacts regarding patient healthcare, focusing on their needs.
  • Create, maintain, and expand sales in their territory.
  • Provide services and medical-scientific information.
  • Know in depth the profile of their products and those of competitors, as well as the profile of their physicians and patients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences.
  • Previous experience of at least 2 years in hospital sales positions.
  • Previous experience ideally in Ophthalmology.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Residence in Valladolid or Salamanca.
  • Work area: Castilla y León.
