What we're looking for

  • Degree in Business Administration and Management, Commerce, Marketing, Institutional Relations, Communication, or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, generation of commercial opportunities, or management of alliances and strategic relationships.
  • Ability to generate contacts, identify needs, and convert them into business or collaboration opportunities.
  • Communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with interlocutors at different levels.
  • Proactive profile, results-oriented, with business vision and capacity for organization and follow-up.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Intermediate level of English.
  • Proficiency in the Office package.

Nice to have

  • Experience in industrial environments and institutional relations will be valued, as well as knowledge of corporate governance, sustainability, circular economy, ESG, and CSR.

The role

At Alier, we are looking to hire a Business Development and Institutional Relations Developer to identify new business opportunities, expand our network of contacts, and develop strategic relationships that contribute to the company's growth.

The selected person will connect with potential clients, collaborators, and key entities, driving opportunities through prospecting and participation in business and institutional spaces. Likewise, they will collaborate on initiatives linked to Alier's ESG strategy.

What you'll do

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities by exploring markets, sectors, and possible avenues for collaboration aligned with Alier's strategy.
  • Establish contact with potential clients, partners, and collaborators, detecting their needs and the fit with the company's solutions.
  • Build and maintain a network of contacts with companies, public and private entities, associations, and strategic organizations.
  • Drive meetings and collaboration proposals, in coordination with the commercial and technical areas, and follow up on the opportunities generated.
  • Evaluate invitations and propose Alier's participation in trade fairs, business meetings, institutional events, and relevant organizations.
  • Prepare and coordinate participation in these spaces, defining objectives, priority contacts, and follow-up actions.
  • Monitor the business, institutional, regulatory, and political environment, identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Coordinate institutional relations and corporate image actions, proposing messages and positioning aligned with the organization's values.
  • Support the Presidency and the Board in managing agendas and commitments, as well as in the preparation of meetings, presentations, and official visits.
  • Keep contact, opportunity, and activity records up to date, ensuring the follow-up of acquired commitments.
  • Draft proposals, correspondence, reports, and documentation linked to business development and institutional relations.
  • Collaborate on transversal projects and alliances linked to ESG and CSR, supporting the technical areas and Talent and Culture.
  • Contribute to the preparation of documentation on ESG progress, impact reports, and progress reports, and to the integration of sustainability into the corporate culture.
