At Alier, we are looking to hire a Transport Specialist to join the Supply Chain area, managing and optimizing land and sea transport operations in Europe. The selected person will contribute to ensuring the availability, traceability, and economic efficiency of material inflows and outflows, incorporating sustainability and continuous improvement criteria.

What you'll do

  • Manage material inflows and outflows, ensuring their availability and efficiency.
  • Coordinate land transport—especially tauliners—and sea transport at a European level.
  • Manage contracts with carriers and guarantee compliance with service agreements.
  • Search for, evaluate, and approve new transport providers.
  • Negotiate rates, conditions, contracts, and capacity with carriers and providers.
  • Supervise deadlines, routes, priorities, and service levels.
  • Manage incidents, delays, claims, and service deviations.
  • Ensure the traceability of shipments and correct communication with Warehouse, Production, and Purchasing.
  • Analyze transport and capacity needs to anticipate activity peaks.
  • Prepare and review cost reports, KPIs, and service levels.
