Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum education: University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.

Required Experience: 2 years of experience in similar functions of process support, R&D laboratories, or continuous improvement management within an industrial environment.

Solid Technical Knowledge:
Good laboratory practices, advanced handling of
Office tools, Power BI, and operational knowledge of industrial management software
such as SAP, SPC tools, and RCA application tools.

The role

We are building a plasterboard manufacturing plant in Zaragoza; Gypzero, an innovative and sustainable project that drives the industry towards the NetZero model.

You will join the Quality Area.

What you'll do

R&D&I Area

Support in product development: Collaborate in the conception phases,
laboratory testing, and definition of technical specifications for new
products or materials.
Coordination of plant testing: Participate in production trials for
the launch of new products, coordinating with the operations team.
Trend analysis: Perform market prospecting and analysis, competitors,
and new technologies/materials to identify development opportunities.
Documentation and Quality: Ensure compliance with quality standards,
safety, and environmental policies during the development of new
processes, keeping technical records up to date.

Continuous Improvement Area

Process analysis and diagnosis: Analyze workflows and production
data from the plant to detect waste, bottlenecks, and optimization
opportunities.
Application of Lean tools: Provide technical support and execute improvement
projects using tools such as value stream mapping (VSM), statistical
process control (SPC), 5S, etc.
Root cause analysis: Lead the resolution of complex problems in the plant
when a new product or process suffers from quality or productivity deviations.
Lean Culture: Foster the participation of plant personnel (operators and
supervisors) in improvement methodologies and in the handling of the new technologies
implemented
Standardization: Support the definition, writing, and updating of
standard operating procedures (SOPs) derived from implemented improvements or from new industrialized products.
