R&D Engineer – Pikolin (Pikolin Group)

As part of the core innovation team and reporting directly to the R&D Manager (GPK), you will be the key link connecting our ideas with industrial reality, collaborating closely with suppliers and our production teams.

• Bring the catalog of the future to life: You will design and evolve the range of bed bases (folding bed bases, bed frames, lifting systems, and kits), aligning with the Portfolio team's strategy.

• Lead from the front line: You will be the person responsible for driving the industrialization phase at the Zaragoza plant (including Pardo) and successfully coordinating product launches with the local Product Development teams at other production plants.

• Be the technical reference: You will solve challenges and contribute your knowledge in both the pre-sales and after-sales phases, providing support to the commercial area and the CSC.

• Constant evolution: You will analyze and implement product improvements in response to new industrial challenges or legal regulations, always ensuring the highest quality.

• Document innovation: You will create and keep up to date the drawings, 3D designs, and technical specifications that will guide production.

Beyond the titles, we are looking for someone with a proactive, problem-solving attitude, initiative, and strong negotiation skills. To make you feel comfortable in the role, we would love for you to bring:

• Your technical background: A degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering would be ideal). Previous experience working in industrial environments will be highly valued.

• A passion for design: More than one year of experience in product development using advanced CAD tools (SolidWorks, SolidEdge, or similar). If you also have experience designing plastic components, you will stand out from the crowd.

• A knack for the workshop: Knowledge and skills in workshop techniques and metallurgy.

• Languages: Fluent English (essential requirement for the position). Knowledge of French will be considered a strong plus.

Formando parte del núcleo de innovación y en dependencia directa del Responsable de I+D+i (GPK), serás la pieza clave que conecte nuestras ideas con la realidad industrial, colaborando estrechamente con proveedores y con nuestros equipos de producción.

• Dar vida al catálogo del futuro: Diseñarás y evolucionarás la gama de bases (canapés abatibles, somieres, kits y sistemas de elevación) alineándote con la estrategia del equipo de Portfolio.

• Liderar desde la primera línea: Serás la persona encargada de pilotar la fase de industrialización en la planta de Zaragoza (incluyendo Pardo) y coordinar con éxito los lanzamientos con los equipos de Desarrollo de Producto locales de otras plantas de producción.

• Ser el referente técnico: Resolverás retos y aportarás tu conocimiento tanto en la fase de preventa como posventa, dando soporte al área comercial y al CSC.

• Evolución constante: Analizarás y aplicarás mejoras en los productos ante nuevos retos industriales o normativas legales, asegurando siempre la máxima calidad.

• Documentar la innovación: Crearás y mantendrás al día los planos, diseños 3D y especificaciones técnicas que guiarán la producción.

• Tu base técnica: Grado en Ingeniería (si es Industrial o Mecánica, ¡ideal!). Será muy valorable que aportes experiencia previa trabajando en entornos industriales.

• Pasión por el diseño: Más de un año de experiencia en desarrollo de producto utilizando herramientas CAD a nivel avanzado (SolidWorks, SolidEdge o similares). Si además cuentas con experiencia en el diseño de componentes plásticos, marcarás la diferencia.

• Gusto por el taller: Nociones y conocimientos en técnicas de taller-metalurgia.

• Idiomas: Dominio fluido de Inglés (requisito indispensable para el puesto). Se valorará de forma muy positiva el conocimiento de Francés.
