The role

We are looking for a Water Treatment Plant Manager for the ArcelorMittal plant in Sestao.
They will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of the facilities and equipment at the Water Treatment Plant, leading electromechanical maintenance activities to maximize operational reliability, prevent unplanned shutdowns, and ensure compliance with safety and sustainability standards.

What you'll do

Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the facilities of the Water Treatment Plant and Fluid Networks (water, natural gas, oxygen, nitrogen, and argon).
Ensure the reliability and availability of the facilities, guaranteeing the proper operation of equipment and the continuity of the production process.
Lead the identification and resolution of repetitive or complex problems, promoting continuous improvement of the maintenance strategy.
Define, optimize, and periodically review maintenance plans, evaluating their cost-benefit and aligning them with the group's best practices.
Organize and supervise the daily activity of day-shift and shift maintenance teams, operators, and contractor companies, in close coordination with the Production area.
Collaborate in the planning and execution of scheduled facility shutdowns.
Ensure compliance with the physicochemical parameters of industrial water and established operational standards.
Manage material resources and services associated with maintenance, including spare parts, consumables, and external contracts.
Identify budgetary needs, control consumption, and analyze cost deviations, proposing optimization actions.
Manage and coordinate in-house and contractor personnel, providing functional support, identifying training needs, coordinating their delivery, and evaluating their effectiveness.
Lead the application of the Safety, Health, and Environment policy within their area of responsibility.
Ensure compliance with procedures, regulations, safe practices, and the use of PPE.
Identify, evaluate, and eliminate risks, promoting a solid and consistent preventive culture.

Requirements

Education: Industrial or Electrical Engineering degree.
3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment related to energy.
Profile with leadership in Safety and Preventive Culture.
Experience leading teams in an industrial environment.
Orientation towards continuous improvement and reliability.
B2 level of English.
