The role
B. Braun wishes to hire one person to manage and develop strategic accounts within the Spine market—reference hospitals, hospital groups, purchasing centers, agents, and distributors—with a Key Account Management vision oriented toward profitable growth, market penetration, and long-term loyalty. The role must drive high-value relationships, solutions tailored to each account, and cross-functional coordination that allows clinical and commercial opportunities to be converted into sustainable results for the company.
What you'll do
- Strategic key account management: Build and develop solid relationships with hospitals, surgeons, clinical and economic decision-makers, hospital groups, and strategic accounts in the spine market. Identify growth opportunities per account, define specific action plans, and ensure a differentiated presence against the competition.
- Indirect channel development: Coordinate the relationship with national agents and distributors, guaranteeing commercial alignment, follow-up on opportunities, and the execution of initiatives that increase coverage, capillarity, and the penetration of the spine business within the territory.
- Negotiation and agreement management: Lead negotiations with key clients, agents, and distributors, ensuring competitive, profitable commercial conditions aligned with the company's strategy. Perform follow-up on established agreements, objectives, and commitments.
- Support in tenders and public bids: Collaborate with marketing, commercial administration, and the sales team in the preparation, presentation, and follow-up of tenders. Ensure that each proposal correctly reflects the clinical, economic, and strategic value of the spine solutions.
- Management of consignments, logistics, and inventory: Coordinate the availability of implants, instrumentation, and associated products in strategic accounts, optimizing stock levels, rotation, and operational efficiency. Work with delegates, agents, and distributors to ensure an agile response to surgical activity and customer needs.
- Market, competition, and opportunity analysis: Monitor the evolution of the spine market, competitor positioning, pricing dynamics, and emerging clinical needs. Translate these insights into commercial recommendations, account plans, and growth priorities.
- Internal collaboration and value proposition: Work in a coordinated manner with marketing, sales, customer service, commercial administration, and clinical support to design proposals tailored to each account. Drive clinical and commercial training that reinforces the differentiation of spine solutions and facilitates adoption by medical teams.
- Regulatory and ethical compliance: Guarantee that all commercial, training, and customer relationship activities are carried out in accordance with local regulations, compliance codes, and the ethical standards of the sector and the company.
- Performance monitoring and reporting: Prepare sales reports, forecasts, strategic account evolution, and specific KPIs for the spine business. Detect deviations, propose corrective measures, and ensure proactive management oriented toward results.
