What we're looking for

Industrial Technical Engineer, preferably Mechanical, with experience in process automation.
Minimum experience: 5 years in the role; experience in a pharmaceutical environment will be valued.
Written and spoken English
Knowledge of SAP and office tools (word processor, spreadsheet, database, etc.).
Knowledge of ISO, FDA, OHSAS regulations and Occupational Risk Prevention.
We are looking for a responsible person with a proactive attitude to propose and/or carry out improvements, with analytical and synthesis skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Ability to work as part of a team.

Nice to have

Knowledge in the following areas will be valued:
- Industrial Automation
- Vision and Imaging Systems (Cognex)
- Touchscreens and HMI Systems
- Pneumatics, Mechanics, Robotics (Staubli, Mitsubishi, ABB, Fanuc, etc.)

The role

B. Braun Surgical is looking to hire an engineer specializing in industrial processes focused on Continuous Improvement to primarily reduce process waste in industrial equipment, within the Maintenance Department at its Rubí facility.

What you'll do

Develop and execute the assigned industrial improvement projects, in line with the operational and strategic needs defined by Industrial Operations management.
Propose technical and productivity improvements agreed upon with the involved departments (Production, Engineering, Quality, Prevention, etc.).
Monitor the implemented improvements.
Propose the necessary modifications to Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for production equipment.
List the spare parts required to maintain the modifications carried out.
Update the documentation for these improvements and train the necessary personnel.
Must meet the improvement project schedule, its costs/investments, the agreed final technical solutions, and the regulatory requirements of the application.
Monitor the KPIs/Objectives established by the Organization.
Carry out and document the projects completed according to internal documentation procedures (project opening, project justification, budgets and purchase orders, Change Control, Validations, standard operating procedures, training, etc.).
