Housekeeping Manager - Occidental Puerto Banús Hotel

• Organize and distribute work in the sections of your Department.
• Supervise the preparation and cleaning of rooms (especially VIP guest rooms), public areas, and floor pantries.
• Supervise the cleaning and speed of delivery of laundry to guests, controlling charges to them for this service.
• Prepare occupancy reports and check discrepancies with the Head Receptionist.
• Supervise the condition of furniture, linens, and room facilities, as well as the condition of laundry machinery.
• Check reports sent to Technical Services and inspect whether repairs are carried out promptly.
• Coordinate room blocks to carry out necessary maintenance and preservation operations.
• Establish and verify stocks of linens, various supplies, and cleaning materials for the floors. Control expenses for various supplies and cleaning materials.
• Prepare shifts and schedules for staff under your supervision. Send attendance reports, leaves, hires, etc. to the Personnel Department.
• Take responsibility for and log lost and found items.

• Education: Intermediate Vocational Training in Hospitality and Tourism.
• Experience: Essential as Assistant Housekeeper or Housekeeper.
• Languages: High-level English; a second language is valued.
• Knowledge of office software will be valued.
• Ability to integrate and organize.
• Communication skills.
• Initiative and innovation.

• Organizar y distribuir el trabajo en las secciones de su Departamento.
• Supervisar la preparación y limpieza de las habitaciones (especialmente en las de clientes VIP), áreas públicas y office de los pisos.
• Supervisar la limpieza y rapidez de la entrega de la ropa a los clientes controlando los cargos a éstos por dicho concepto.
• Confeccionar los partes de ocupación y comprobar con el Jefe de Recepción las diferencias.
• Supervisar el estado del mobiliario, ropa, instalaciones de las habitaciones como el estado de la maquinaria de la lavandería.
• Comprobar los partes enviados a Servicios Técnicos e inspeccionar si se llevan a cabo las reparaciones con la rapidez necesaria.
• Coordinar los bloqueos de habitaciones para efectuar las operaciones necesarias de mantenimiento y conservación.
• Establecer y verificar los stocks de ropa, suministros varios y material de limpieza para los pisos. Controlar los gastos de suministros varios y del material de limpieza.
• Confeccionar los turnos y horarios del personal a sus órdenes. Enviar al Departamento de Personal los partes de asistencia, bajas, altas, etc.
• Responsabilizarse y registrar los objetos encontrados.

• Formación: Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio Hostelería y Turismo.
• Experiencia: Imprescindible como Subgobernante/a o Gobernante/a.
• Idiomas: Inglés alto, valorable segundo idioma.
• Se valorarán conocimientos en: ofimática.
• Capacidad de integración y organización.
• Habilidades comunicativas.
• Iniciativa e innovación.
