At BETWEEN Technology we are looking to bring on board a Tooling and Industrial Means Engineer to take part in a project related to the manufacturing and assembly of large-scale metal structures within the Steel Tower field.

Your mission will be to define and coordinate the development of the tooling, devices and auxiliary means required for the production processes, following them through to validation and implementation on the plant floor.

What you'll do

  • Analyse manufacturing and assembly needs to define the required tooling, devices and auxiliary means.
  • Prepare the technical and functional specifications for the production means.
  • Define the technical requirements, documentation and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate the design and development of the tooling with external suppliers and internal teams.
  • Follow up on their manufacturing, validation, commissioning and implementation.
  • Review the technical documentation delivered by suppliers and design teams.
  • Propose improvements to existing means to increase productivity, quality and safety.
  • Work closely with the Process Engineering, Production and Quality teams during the different industrialisation phases.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial environments related to manufacturing, assembly or industrialisation.
  • Experience in defining, developing, following up on or implementing tooling, devices or production means.
  • Education in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Organisation, Industrial Design or similar.
  • Ability to prepare and review technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Minimum English level of B2 to operate in a professional environment.

The following will be especially valued

  • Experience with large-scale metal structures or Steel Tower projects.
  • Experience in heavy industry, wind energy, rail, naval, aerospace or special machinery.
  • Experience coordinating tooling or industrial means suppliers.
