Demonstrable experience: Minimum 3 years of specific experience in 3D modeling with AVEVA E3D (formerly PDMS).
Knowledge of AVEVA E3D: Advanced mastery of the tool, including its modules and functionalities for industrial plant design.
Experience in O&G: Previous experience working on projects for the Oil & Gas sector, with knowledge of its specific requirements.
Piping and Vessel Modeling: Solid experience in the modeling of complex piping systems and pressure vessels.
Interference Management: Proven ability for the detection, analysis, and resolution of interferences.
Freelance / Self-employed Profile: Ability to work independently, manage your own time and resources, and issue invoices.

AVEVA E3D Modeler (Freelance / Self-employed)

We are looking to add a AVEVA E3D Modeler with a FREELANCE / SELF-EMPLOYED profile to join one of our project teams to provide support on demand as required by the project. Project duration between 1 and 2 years. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in 3D modeling using AVEVA E3D, with specialization in the Oil & Gas (O&G) sector. Main responsibilities will include detailed modeling of pressure tanks and all associated elements, such as piping systems, structures, connections, supports, instrumentation, and any other component relevant to a large-scale industrial plant.

Additionally, active participation in the review and resolution of interferences will be required, ensuring design integrity and optimization. Expert handling of the AVEVA E3D tool will be fundamental to success in this position.

What you'll do

3D modeling of pressure vessels and all related elements (piping, structure, connections, instrumentation, supports, etc.) for a large Oil & Gas sector plant.
Creation of detailed and accurate models that comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Thorough review of models to identify and resolve interferences between different disciplines (piping, equipment, structures, instrumentation, etc.).
Collaboration with engineers and other team members to ensure design consistency and feasibility.
Generation of technical documentation and deliverables derived from the 3D model as necessary.
Handling and application of best practices in the use of AVEVA E3D to maximize modeling efficiency and quality.
Adherence to design procedures and regulations applicable to the O&G sector.
