About the role

We are looking for an R&D Hardware Engineer to join one of the teams that BETWEEN Technology's Mobility & Transportation unit has deployed at one of our main clients in the industrial automotive sector.

The selected candidate will take part in electronic hardware development, from PCB design and prototyping to production support, collaborating with different teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

At BETWEEN, we have more than 1,400 professionals and work on engineering and R&D projects for leading clients in sectors such as automotive, pharma, machinery, and product development. From our technical office, we provide support across all stages of the product lifecycle according to each client's needs.

What you'll do

  • PCB design, routing, and validation using tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or OrCAD.
  • Development, assembly, and commissioning of electronic prototypes.
  • Microcontroller programming for embedded applications.
  • Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation associated with development.
  • Technical support to the production area during the industrialization and manufacturing phases.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the robustness and reliability of designs.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hardware development.
  • Experience in PCB design, routing, and manufacturing using tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, or similar.
  • Knowledge of microcontroller programming.
  • Experience in managing technical documentation.
  • Ability to design and commission prototypes.
