Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Technical Architecture or Industrial Engineering.
Good knowledge of urban planning, construction, and legal matters.
Consolidated experience (between 3 and 5 years) in the technical direction of works, having managed teams and construction projects.
Experience in license management and negotiations with public entities.
Intermediate-advanced level of English is essential

The role

Bluespace is the leading Self Storage company in Spain, with over 20 years of history and a presence in 4 countries. We have more than 100 centers and we are going for more: 185 in 5 years!

Local management of construction projects for new centers, from their inception, through technical supervision and coordination of all agents involved in the works, until their completion and handover to the Operations department. The management of said projects must be carried out ensuring compliance with the approved budget, deadline, and quality, together with the PM responsible for the project.

What you'll do

Site supervision and visits:

- Coordination and monitoring of the project in direct relation with subcontracted external providers.

- Continuous monitoring to ensure quality and established deadlines.

-Supervision of compliance with legal regulations by subcontracted providers regarding safety.

- Control of work execution certifications

Project coordination.
Project development and participation in the management of obtaining licenses.
Meetings with Engineering firms or architecture offices.
Internal reports to the PM directly responsible for the project and relations with other departments (Operations and Finance).
Liaison with the Operations department to report on the progress monitoring of the project and its final delivery.

Occasionally, you will also participate in:

Collaboration in the development of Construction budgets.
Management with official bodies (city councils).
