What you'll do

The selected person will perform the role of Bid Manager in those tenders in which CAF Signalling presents its OPTIO solution, taking responsibility for the entire bidding process, from the receipt of the Request for Proposal (RFP) to the final delivery of the offer to the client.

  • Understand the commercial and technical requirements of the tenders, defining the bidding strategy, the value proposition, and the main differentiating elements.
  • Lead and coordinate the bidding process from the initial evaluation of the opportunity to the final presentation of the proposal, ensuring compliance with client requirements, established deadlines, and quality objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain the bid planning, supervising progress and coordinating the necessary resources throughout the entire lifecycle of the tender.
  • Develop and maintain the project planning included in the proposal, ensuring a realistic, competitive execution strategy aligned with the client's requirements.
  • Develop the project cost structure and coordinate the economic estimates from the various areas involved, ensuring that all project scopes, assumptions, and risks are adequately considered.
  • Drive alignment between the different participants and facilitate effective collaboration between the Commercial, Operations, Engineering, R&D, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other support functions.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the technical, commercial, and contractual proposal, guaranteeing the consistency and completeness of all documentation presented.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage the risks associated with the bid and the future execution of the project, coordinating the necessary mitigation actions with stakeholders.
  • Consolidate and prepare the documentation required for internal reviews, governance processes, and bid approvals.
  • Coordinate the financial closing process of the proposal and provide support for the final approval and presentation of the tender.
  • Assume responsibility for the overall quality, consistency, and delivery of the bid within the established deadlines.
