What we're looking for

You will succeed if...

You provide a university degree in Technical Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, or Electronic) or similar.
You manage and handle ERPs such as Business Central or Navision. Office environment.
You provide 3 years of demonstrable experience in a Purchasing Department, both in national and international geographic scopes (preferably in the railway signalling sector).
Availability to travel occasionally both nationally and internationally.
If you communicate naturally in written and spoken English (C1). You communicate naturally in written and spoken English.

What you'll do

Based in our Alcobendas office, the selected person will be part of the Procurement Area; these would be your main challenges:

Supplier sourcing and market prospecting for supplies and subcontracts based on technical specifications and project needs.
Liaising with suppliers, high negotiation capacity with suppliers (optimization of prices, deadlines, payment terms, Incoterms, etc...)
Issuing RFQs, analyzing offers, and generating comparison charts.
Purchasing strategy and order monitoring, activation, and planning.
Coordination with different company departments (logistics, Operations, and Engineering areas).
Drafting specific conditions, service and/or supply contracts, and frame agreements.
Preparation of supplier monitoring reports and KPIs.
