We are looking for a Data Science Specialist profile, whose main mission will be to take part in the complete lifecycle of our Machine Learning projects and the automation of critical business processes. We are looking for a profile with a solid mathematical and technological foundation, comfortable communicating with stakeholders and coordinating technically with external consultancies and partners on shared developments.
Responsibilities.
ML project monitoring: Design, validate and carry out continuous monitoring of predictive models.
Vendor validation: Audit the developments (Python, SQL) and architectures (GCP) delivered by external consultancies, ensuring that technical milestones and Camper's objectives are met.
Communication and business: Translate complex analytical needs into technical solutions and explain results clearly to stakeholders and business teams (buyers, sales teams, etc.).
Technological innovation: Proactively propose new methodologies, tools or emerging technologies that bring value to the company.
Requirements.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of demonstrable prior experience in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering or development of end-to-end analytical solutions.
Education: Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or an equivalent quantitative discipline.
Cross-functional skills: Strong communication skills, ability to manage and monitor projects, explanatory capability and a mindset oriented toward pragmatic problem-solving.
Predictive modeling: Hands-on experience using Neural Networks, Random Forest, Embeddings and similar algorithms.
Technical foundation: Good level of Python and SQL. Ability to read third-party code, perform reviews and identify operational improvement points.
Valuable Requirements.
Prior experience in the Retail or e-commerce industry.
Prior experience dealing with vendors, consultancies or taking on technical coordination tasks.
Practical knowledge of Machine Learning projects and use of Generative AI tools.
