Job Description.
The Merchandiser role will be responsible for supporting the execution of display, purchasing, commercial, replenishment, and product presentation strategies at points of sale. Their goal is to ensure the correct implementation of brand guidelines to maximize visibility and sales.
Responsibilities.
Participate in the selection and purchasing of products by season and by channel,
Generate purchase orders (Purchasing Orders).
Track and report on product arrival, from manufacturing to the point of sale.
Develop the initial product allocation proposal by store, based on capacity and sales.
Ensure product availability, replenishment, and transfers between stores.
Ensure the correct display of collections according to season, trends, and commercial priorities.
Validate and standardize the retail selling price (PVP) across all channels.
Support the implementation of promotional campaigns.
Maintain the number of options per store according to their capacity.
Prepare reports on sales, inventory, stockouts, competition, turnover, and key products.
Coordinate with the sales team and supervisors.
Support product rotation (markdowns and promotions).
Meet established KPIs.
