What we're looking for

Education: Graduates in Optics and Optometry (professional registration or the possibility to practice/validate the degree is essential).

General Experience: Minimum of 10 years of accumulated career in the Optical / Retail sector.

Specific Experience: Minimum of 10 years as a Retail Manager directly managing several points of sale and multidisciplinary teams.

Languages: High level of English (C1), indispensable for the support and monitoring of the international network.

The role

At a key moment of international expansion and brand consolidation, we are looking to hire a Retail Director with a strategic vision and deep technical knowledge of the optical sector.

Their main mission will be to lead the definition, design, and implementation of the Store Operating Manual, ensuring homogeneity, the quality of optometric/commercial service, and maximum operational efficiency in every opening and point of sale, both in the national and international markets.

What you'll do

Strategy and Operational Standardization: Design, write, and keep updated the brand's Store Operations Manual (standards of
service, clinic protocol, customer experience, opening and closing procedures, audits, and inventory/cash control).
Guarantee operational homogeneity across the network of owned stores, franchises, and new openings.
Network Management and Opening Processes: Supervise the Operations Checklists for new openings (local and international), ensuring the
fulfillment of deadlines and the correct operational handover to the store teams.
Analyze the efficiency of current processes and propose continuous improvements to optimize the P&L and the operational times of the points of sale.
KPI Analysis and Management Tools:
Define, monitor, and analyze the key operational and commercial KPIs of the network (average ticket, units per ticket, conversion rate, stock turnover, etc.).
Drive the correct implementation and use of commercial management software and ERP in-store.
Training and Service Excellence: Design and deliver operational training programs for Store Managers and store teams, ensuring the transfer of the Operating Manual into daily practice.
Ensure alignment between the commercial value proposition and the technical-optical praxis of the clinics.
