What we're looking for

Experience in webMethods administration at an infrastructure level
Mastery of the components: Integration Server, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, Terracotta, and MFT (Active Transfer)
Experience in N2/N3 support, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Experience in patching, application of fixes and service packs, and upgrades
Experience with IBM webMethods licensing and usage measurement (metering and Resource Units)
At least 5 years of experience as a webMethods administrator or architect
Experience in installation, upgrades (versions 10.x/11.x), clustering, and high availability
Experience with Command Central, the administration and patching tool.
Linux and scripting (shell, Python, or Ansible)
Experience in managed services or AMS, with the ability to train and transfer knowledge

Nice to have

Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift)

The role

At CONVOTIS Iberia, we are looking to recruit IBM webMethods administration profiles at an infrastructure level, to support a client during the transition and takeover of a service. You will be the team's expert support during the handover, with a strong focus on knowledge transfer and the escalation of complex incidents.

We are not looking for a development profile: anyone who only develops flows or services in Designer does not fit this position.

What you'll do

Functional and technical administration, and N2/N3 support for Integration Server, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, Terracotta, and MFT
Monitoring and troubleshooting
Preventive maintenance, application of fixes, service packs, security patches, and upgrades
Periodic capacity and performance reviews, health checks, and configuration reviews
Management of capacity, availability, and operational automation
Operational automation and performance optimization
Infrastructure optimization, platform consolidation, and reduction of operating costs
Control of metering and Resource Units (license consumption in the IBM model)
Architectural recommendations, technological roadmap, and continuous service improvement
Disaster recovery support: review and update of DRP procedures, support for contingency testing, and periodic validation of recovery procedures
Transfer knowledge to the team taking over the service
