Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Experience in Windows Server systems administration in data center environments

  • Experience with Windows Server, with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V), and with Active Directory

  • Knowledge of storage (SAN/NAS) and backups

  • Basic networking knowledge

  • Experience with ITIL processes (incidents, problems, and changes)

Nice to have

  • Scripting with PowerShell

  • Experience with server hardware (HPE, Dell, Lenovo) and its management

  • Monitoring tools

  • Microsoft or VMware certifications

  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud (Azure)

The role

At CONVOTIS Iberia, we are looking to hire a Datacenter / Wintel Specialist for an infrastructure project. You will be responsible for administering and maintaining the Windows server and virtualization infrastructure of a data center environment, with a hybrid working model.

What you'll do

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server servers in physical and virtualized environments

  • Manage the virtualization infrastructure (VMware or Hyper-V)

  • Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies (GPO)

  • Apply patches and updates, and manage changes in production

  • Monitor the platform, and resolve incidents and problems

  • Collaborate in the management of storage, backups, and recovery

  • Document the infrastructure and procedures

How you'll work

If you work extra hours one day or need to leave early for personal reasons, you can make up the time another day without any issues. Additionally, you can decide whether you want to work from the office or from home.
