The role
If you consider yourself an analytical, proactive person with a business orientation, we have an ambitious opportunity for you in our Barcelona offices.
We are looking for a Product Distribution & Replenishment Analyst!
What you'll do
Your main responsibilities will be...
- Analysis of points of sale (POS)
Analyze the general situation and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the product of the assigned points of sale (for example, sales, stock, bestsellers, etc.), in order to track their evolution, detect deviations, and make the appropriate decisions regarding the optimal assortment and allocation of products in each point of sale, in coordination with your manager. Prepare a weekly action plan by product and country.
- Management of point of sale replenishment
Define and calculate the replenishment needs of the points of sale for each market based on forecasted demand, available and in-transit stock, store capacity, and logistical parameters (lead times, shipping frequencies, and target coverage). Periodically review and adjust these parameters according to the behavior of each market and point of sale, and propose improvements to the replenishment models and logic.
Manage the creation of orders, store capacity, movements, and returns between points of sale, as well as other related information in the corresponding systems.
Manage new point of sale openings within your area of responsibility, creating the initial orders and other necessary data in the corresponding systems.
- Replenishment volume planning and coordination with Logistics
Prepare and update replenishment volume forecasts with the aim of anticipating capacity needs at the logistics platform. Share this planning with Logistics, and maintain daily communication with logistics to coordinate possible deviations. When platform capacity is limited, prioritize and redistribute shipments according to business criteria.
- Data management and planning systems
Ensure the quality and integrity of the master data that feeds replenishment (product, store, stock, sales, logistical parameters). Manage the joint operation of the different tools (ERP, replenishment system, Tableau...). Develop reports and dashboards, and automate recurring analysis processes.
- Coordination with sales teams
Maintain frequent contact with the sales teams of the points of sale under your responsibility and conduct visits to learn about their needs, understand their customer typology, provide them with specific information about products or other relevant information, resolve possible incidents, and obtain feedback on sales and point of sale performance.
All of this with the objective of guaranteeing their correct operation and facilitating decision-making processes.
- Commercial initiatives
Participate in the definition of commercial initiatives for the managed points of sale, adjusting promotions and prices by country and point of sale.
