Google Cloud Project Manager

We are looking for a person with experience in Google Cloud project management to join our organization in Madrid, Spain. In this role, they will be responsible for directing the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud infrastructure projects on Google Cloud Platform. They will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a decisive leader with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex technical initiatives in a dynamic environment.

• Direct the end-to-end execution of projects on Google Cloud Platform, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
•  Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and adjust strategies as necessary to maintain smooth project operation • Manage communications and stakeholder expectations throughout all project phases, providing regular status updates and risk assessments
• Supervise cross-functional teams, including cloud architects, engineers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless collaboration and accountability. • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans to proactively address potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and GCP best practices throughout the entire project execution
• • Optimize resource allocation and manage project budgets to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
• • Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned to continuously improve project execution processes
• • Maintain detailed project documentation and keep organized records for auditing and regulatory compliance purposes

• More than 5 years of professional experience in project management, with a proven track record of success in executing complex initiatives
•  More than 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud infrastructure environments • Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall approaches
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation • Experience leading and guiding cross-functional teams in a technical environment • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project)
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
