Requirements

What we're looking for

Extensive knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
Strong knowledge of Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
Experience in the design and implementation of data pipelines and machine learning operations (MLOps) workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in collaboration with other teams.
More than 7 years of professional experience in cloud computing and software engineering, with at least 3 years dedicated to AI/machine learning solutions.
High level of spoken English is essential.

Nice to have

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience with data storage and analytics platforms.
Proven track record of executing large-scale AI/ML projects in production environments.
Google Cloud professional certifications.

Lead the architecture and implementation of AI and machine learning solutions on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
Advise and develop a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Design and optimize cloud infrastructure for AI workloads, including data pipelines, model training, and inference systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, data science, and infrastructure, to define technical requirements and deliver solutions
Establish and apply best practices for cloud development, including security, monitoring, and cost optimization.
Evaluate and implement emerging AI/machine learning technologies and tools to enhance our technical capabilities.
Conduct technical interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a high-performance team.
Drive performance evaluations and professional development conversations with direct reports.
Analyze complex technical challenges and offer innovative solutions with attention to detail and efficiency.
Manage technical projects, deadlines, and resource allocation, while maintaining quality standards.
