What you'll do
Execute the strategy for protecting, monitoring, and promoting the physical, mental, and social health of people in the workplace, in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety System and the guidelines of the regional technical coordinator of the Health Service. Identify the occupational origin, as a causative or aggravating factor, of known health conditions and promote the adoption of the necessary preventive measures within the organization.
Main duties and requirements.
- Provide nursing consultations (in-person and remote). Treatments and follow-up. Paid medical leave under the supervision of a physician. Screening consultation. Recovery and assistance, using internal or external means, for the person under voluntary collaboration arrangements who suffers a work-related contingency, including, under the supervision of a physician, the issuance of sick leave and return-to-work certificates when required.
- Identify limitations of sensitive workers and promote necessary adaptations in coordination with Occupational Risk Prevention and Human Resources.
- Promote health education and promotion programs, including physical and mental health campaigns and occupational safety training.
- Conduct health examinations and collaborate in occupational health surveillance.
- Manage nursing consultations and care, follow up on occupational injuries and illnesses, and coordinate with the Mutual Insurance Company for occupational health.
- Maintain communication with the organizational structure and technical staff of the Occupational Health Service, participate in Health and Safety Committees, and conduct visits to workplaces.
