Purchasing Manager

• Proven experience (8+ years) in the direction or management of perishable food product purchasing / fresh or live raw materials (agri-food, fruit and vegetable, natural ingredients, or similar sectors).

• Proficiency in seasonal procurement management and perishable product supply chains.

• Strategic capacity and high-level negotiation skills.

• Experience managing international teams and suppliers.

• Professional English proficiency.

• Sensitivity toward sustainability and responsible sourcing.

• Experience in growth or transformation environments.

• High-responsibility position with a direct impact on the business.

• Define and execute the global purchasing strategy for perishable raw materials and fresh products (botanical ingredients, agricultural raw materials, live plants), as well as packaging and indirects.

• Negotiate with national and international producers and suppliers, managing seasonality, traceability, and the continuity of supply for live products.

• Ensure quality and freshness standards from the source, with sustainability and traceability criteria.

• Build and develop partnership relationships with strategic suppliers.

• Optimize costs without compromising quality or product standards.

• Manage and develop the purchasing team.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, R&D, and Finance.

• Report directly to General Management as part of the management committee.
