The role

At Fritz&Muller, we are looking for a Technical Office Engineer to join a company specialized in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom furniture, oriented towards the development of furniture projects for different spaces and contract projects.

You will be responsible for transforming designs and project specifications into viable technical solutions for manufacturing, from development and modeling to the generation of the necessary documentation for production and assembly.

What you'll do

Technical development and industrialization of custom furniture using TopSolid Wood.
3D modeling of furniture, assemblies, and components based on designs, drawings, and project specifications.
Preparation of technical manufacturing and assembly drawings.
Generation of exploded views, bills of materials, and technical documentation necessary for production.
Definition of materials, thicknesses, hardware, joints, and construction solutions.
Definition and preparation of machining: drilling, milling, grooving, mortising, and other processes necessary for manufacturing.
Preparation of the technical information necessary for production and CNC machining.
Parametrization of furniture and development and maintenance of component libraries in TopSolid Wood.
Analysis of the technical and productive feasibility of the designs.
Optimization of construction solutions taking into account quality, costs, materials, and manufacturing times.
Resolution of technical incidents and modifications during the manufacturing and assembly phases.
Coordination with the Design, Production, Purchasing, Projects, and Assembly departments.
Technical monitoring of projects from their development in the technical office through to manufacturing.
