What we're looking for

Education: Higher Level Vocational Training (FP) in areas such as Chemistry and Environmental Health, Quality Control and Laboratory, Food Industry, Occupational Risk Prevention, or similar; or a University Degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related degrees.
Experience: previous specific experience in Quality is not essential. Experience in industrial plant, production, maintenance, supervision, or similar environments will be especially valued.
Technical profile, meticulous, and problem-solving ability.
Availability and interest in working both in the plant and in the laboratory.

We are especially looking for a person with a desire to learn, grow professionally, and develop a career within the Quality area.

The role

The company is located in a productive environment and focuses on quality, safety, and continuous improvement; it is looking to hire a Plant Quality and Production Technician.

The selected person will join the Quality department and will receive progressive training both in the plant and in the laboratory, with the objective of acquiring a complete vision of the production processes and the quality and food safety systems.

The position is especially oriented towards profiles with a technical background, a proactive attitude, and a desire to learn and develop professionally within the Quality area.

What you'll do

Perform quality and food safety controls established both in the plant and in the laboratory.
Verify process parameters, in-line controls, and records associated with production.
Perform analysis of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
Provide support to Production in resolving quality-related incidents.
Collaborate in the management of non-conformities, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.
Support the maintenance and completion of records, procedures, and instructions of the quality and food safety management system.
Participate in internal audits and collaborate in the preparation of customer and certification audits.
Monitor quality and food safety indicators, helping to detect possible deviations.
Participate in industrial trials and process changes together with Production, R&D, and Engineering.
Contribute to the training and awareness of plant personnel regarding quality, hygiene, and food safety.
Comply with and contribute to compliance with internal quality, food safety, occupational risk prevention, and environmental standards.
Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
