We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and operate the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) platform on which the digital bank's software is delivered: GitHub as version control, GitHub Actions for continuous integration, and ArgoCD (GitOps) for continuous deployment on GKE. The selected person will work on the already defined design with GCP Artifact Registry, GKE clusters per environment, and will be responsible for automating, securing, and optimizing the delivery cycle, also incorporating AI tools to improve the productivity of the development team and the DevOps operations themselves.
Continuous integration (CI)
Design, maintain, and optimize GitHub Actions workflows: build, tests, vulnerability scanning, and publishing images/charts to Artifact Registry.
Configure GitHub Actions authentication to GCP using Workload Identity Federation, without using service account keys.
Integrate artifact signing and verification (Binary Authorization) as part of the build pipeline itself.
Manage the configuration and governance of GitHub repositories (branch protection, required reviews, merge policies).
Continuous deployment (CD) with ArgoCD
Operate and maintain the GKE cluster that hosts ArgoCD, including its private connectivity to the clusters of each environment.
Maintain the separation between the instance
Manage Helm manifests and charts, and the promotion strategy between environments.
Diagnose and resolve synchronization issues, configuration drift, and failed deployments.
Use of AI in the delivery cycle
Incorporate AI assistants into the development flow to speed up code review, test generation, and technical documentation.
Explore and apply AI for early detection of anomalies in deployments and for assisted generation of manifests, pipelines, and policies as code.
Automation and continuous improvement
Automate repetitive operational tasks in the pipeline (secret management, credential rotation, artifact cleanup).
Define pipeline metrics (lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate) and act on them.
Collaborate with platform, security, and development teams to keep the pipeline aligned with organizational policies.
